Boom lift and scissor lift training

This training is intended for regular and occasional users of boom lifts and scissor lift. It complies with Canadian standards (CAN/CSA-B354.8) and meets the requirements of the Regulation respecting Occupational Health and Safety (RSST).

Objective

Develop safe work methods.
Develop skills for the inspection and operation of boom lifts and scissor lifts.
Understand the causes of accidents and how to prevent them.

Content

Identify the operator’s responsibilities.
Detect potential hazards in the work environment.
Inspect equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s standards.
Operate equipment following safety rules and best practices.
Assess participants’ practical and theoretical knowledge.
