Pick up or return your equipment with complete flexibility

Your tool or equipment is reserved, delivered, and you're ready to get to work. But what happens when it's time to receive it or return it once your project is done? At Simplex, everything is designed to be fast, clear, and efficient. Here’s how it works.

1. Picking Up Your Equipment: Be Well Prepared

When you rent equipment from Simplex, you have two options for picking it up:

Pick-up at a Branch

We’ll give you a scheduled appointment.
On our side, we’ll prepare your equipment so it’s ready for you at the agreed time.
Make sure to bring:

  • The name or phone number of the organization the reservation was made for (or the account number, if you're a professional)
  • A valid piece of ID
  • Any required accessories or documents (e.g. inspection certificate, harness)

Pro tip: Check that your vehicle is suitable for the size and weight of the equipment you're picking up.

Job Site Delivery

Chose the delivery option? We’ll handle everything:

  • Your equipment will arrive on the scheduled date, time, and location
  • Delivery will be made either at ground level or at the loading dock, based on what you selected during the reservation

Good to know

  • Someone must be available on site to receive and sign for the delivery.
  • If something unexpected comes up, just call your Simplex branch to adjust the timing.

2. Returning Equipment: As Easy as a Phone Call

Your project is complete? Congratulations!
Here’s how to return your equipment with ease:

Return It Yourself

  • Bring the equipment back to the branch indicated on your reservation.
  • Provide the name and/or phone number associated with the rental to speed up the process.

Pick-Up by Simplex

Be ready to provide:

  • The account name or phone number
  • The contract or reservation number
  • The exact pick-up address
  • Any specific details (e.g. ground-level or loading dock pick-up)

Our team will coordinate with you to schedule the pick-up date and time slot.

Pro tip: Make sure the equipment is accessible and ready for pick-up to avoid any delays.

A Few Reminders for a Smooth Return

  • Clean the equipment if required (we’ll let you know when necessary)
  • Remove any personal items or added accessories
  • If the equipment was damaged or shows any issues: let us know.
  • If you’re returning the equipment yourself, try to respect the agreed return time to avoid additional charges
