Renewing your grounds

In the harsh fall weather, the cold and snow often leave their mark. At the end of winter, you can repair the damage done by this season and help your yard to look new. The vegetation will start to take shape in March and April.

The Kombi Sweeper is very effective at sweeping up rocks, debris, leaves and more. It is much simpler than the leaf sweeper.

The Lawn Aerator Roller removes small cores of soil, usually 7 to 10 centimeters (3-4 inches) deep. The surrounding soil is broken up in these holes, making it easier for water, oxygen, fertilizer and other nutrients to penetrate the soil.

Thatch is a layer of organic matter (roots, grass, leaves) that accumulates on the soil. A layer of thatch that is too thick will prevent water, air and nutrients from reaching the soil and will compact it.

It is recommended that dethatching be done in the spring when the thatch is 1.5 cm thick. And it is advisable to do it after the aerator in order to spread the soil cores on the field.

The benefits of dethatching: denser lawn, better greening, facilitates the penetration of water and nutrients in the soil.

Preparing the vegetable garden

Why dig up your garden or vegetable garden?

It allows to prepare the soil, to turn over the earth and to receive crops.

Turning the soil with a rototiller breaks up clumps of soil and makes it more loose. It will be more aerated and you will have less difficulty planting your seeds.
